Dental organization concludes 11-month CEO search

The American Dental Association has pulled from their own membership again to name Kathleen T. O’Loughlin executive director and COO, effective June 1. The 150-year old association has a history of hiring a dentist for its top spot. A member of ADA for 25 years, O’Loughlin brings with her a variety of dental experience, including private practice, teaching, consulting and management in health care insurance organizations. Most recently, she served briefly as chief dental officer of insurance firm United Healthcare.
